Abstract: Successful exit strategy of venture capital is a prerequisite for value adding for continuous operation of the capital in time and space. With reference to the experiences in the US and European, the article provides a systematic and statistical analysis of the present situation on available exit strategies for venture capital in China. In identification of several reasons for limited exit strategies, including the under developed multi-level capital market, equity market, and construction of related laws and regulations, the article proposes several policy recommendations.
